Ceol has a new address: ceol.app
- Ceol now lives at ceol.app. Old ceol.io links and bookmarks bring you to the same page here, with a note at the top until you close it. Please update your bookmarks.
- Sign in again on ceol.app: sign-ins don't carry over from ceol.io. If you've forgotten your password, ask for a sign-in link by email.
- If you added Ceol to your phone's home screen, remove it and add it again from ceol.app.
- Emails from Ceol now come from ceol.app addresses.
In the app: a tune's sheet, in four tabs
- A tune's sheet in the iPhone app now has the website's four tabs. My List holds your status, notes, tags and Configure (your own name, setting and key for the tune). Details holds what the session calls and plays, which its admins can change, and the play counts. History has two halves. Played At lists the nights it was played, newest first; "Change…" picks the session, one of its nights, all your sessions or every session, and "Only when I was there" narrows it. Tap a night to open its log at that tune. Played With lists the tunes it shares sets with; tap one for its sheet.
The app without an account
- The iPhone app no longer asks you to sign in first. Without an account you can browse sessions, their tunes and logs, look up tunes, and use Listen. Joining a session, keeping your own list of tunes and logging still need an account; the app asks you to sign in when you get there, then brings you back. See What's Ceol?
Signing in
- On the password step, "Email me a sign-in link instead" sends you a link, for when you'd rather not type your password. This works on the website and in the app.
- The app now has "Forgot your password?" too.
- Emails about your account now come from [email protected], so you can reply to them.
Report, privacy and support
- Report: if you see something offensive, wrong or broken, tell us from the menu. In the app it's in the ··· at the top right of every screen; on the website it's in the menu, or on Me on a phone. See Contact & Support.
- Ceol now has a Privacy Policy, saying what it keeps about you and why.
- In the app, Share has moved into the ··· menu at the top right.
