On Your Phone

You can use Ceol on your phone at the session. On an iPhone, Ceol is an app. On an Android phone, you can install the website on your home screen. It then works like an app.

The iPhone App

Get Ceol from the App Store. The app has everything the website has. It also has Listen, which tells you the name of the tune that is playing. If you want to try new versions before they are released, join the beta on TestFlight. You need Apple's free TestFlight app for this.

Android

There is no Android app. You can install the website on your home screen instead. It then opens full screen with its own icon, keeps you signed in, and works offline in the same way. To install it:

1. Open ceol.app in Chrome.
2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
3. Tap Add to Home screen. On some phones this says Install app.
4. Tap Install.

On your first visit, Chrome can show an Install bar at the bottom of the page. Tap it to do the same thing. In Samsung Internet, open the menu and tap Add page to, then Home screen.

If you installed Ceol from ceol.io before the move to ceol.app, remove that icon. Then install it again from ceol.app.

An iPhone Without the App

Safari can also install the website on your home screen. Open ceol.app, tap Share, then tap Add to Home Screen.
